Actually most bats aren’t that scary at all! They are very important for our ecosystem as they keep the balance for the amount of insects.
“A new proposal would let gas and oil companies kill Pennsylvania’s endangered bats by destroying their habitats as part of the construction process.
Many of these bats have already declined in numbers from disease and human activity. For example, white nose disease has recently killed a whopping 98 percent of Pennsylvania’s hibernating bats.
Please sign the petition to urge the Fish and Wildlife Service to put our native wildlife above big business and reject proposals to kill endangered bats!”
And if you are on the internet anyways, look up ‘baby bat’ and you will find that bats are cute as well!
